New feature: Calendar
Since childhood, everyone is impacted by time management and the way in which we associate tasks with it. At the beginning, at school, we started with a textbook in which we log our homework, and later in life one may use a paper diary and then an electronic diary. Today, calendars available on phones or computers are guiding our working days and even our private life.
The calendar available in Urbest is built with the core purpose of simplification and visualisation of the work to come. Positioning of the upcoming tasks whether they are planned or one-off requests makes it possible to understand what is coming next. By knowing clearly what one will have to do in the coming days, a person or team can focus more easily on what will be done and only that. It is a way to clear the mind and focus on what needs to be done.
Reassuring users
From a customer service point of view, it is also a good way to share and be notified of what will be done and when. Let’s look at how a taxi app manages waiting time: from the moment a user knows the cars’ movements this user can understand and project himself/herself on what will happen next and how much time it will take until the service is delivered. Applied to calendar sharing, one can imagine the positive effect that a customer can feel by knowing when a service will be rendered.

Planning the workload
From a supervisor's point of view, the ability to visualise the workload at the scale of a building, a contract or a person is a way to better dispatch tasks.
Within a team, this makes it possible to gauge the working time required and to distribute the actions by bulk corresponding to a working day.
On the supervision side, it is also a good way to review the coming actions and to anticipate, discuss, prepare or even shift in time future actions.
What’s next?
Our goal at Urbest is to find innovative ways that will save time and bring more efficiencies between the daily interactions of service providers, end-users or supervisors. As we go forward we look at improving and solidifying the UX of our product. This will be done in order to save even more time and create productivity savings for managing a working day and sharing information seamlessly.
